This site is built and operated by the author. It runs on the Lovable platform, which provides hosting and managed backend services. Platform features described below are factual capabilities of those services and are not Lovable-issued certifications. App-level practices — what we collect, how we use it, who we contact — are the author’s responsibility.

Reader accounts are optional and used to save reading progress, orders, and saved letters. Sign-in is handled through the managed backend (Supabase Auth via Lovable Cloud) using email/password or Google. Sessions are stored in your browser; signing out clears the local session.

Access to your account data is enforced server-side with row-level security policies scoped to your user id.

Book and audiobook purchases are processed by Shopify, our storefront and payments provider. Payment card details are handled by Shopify and its payment processors — they are not stored on this site. We retain order metadata (book, format, fulfilment status) so we can show your order history and help with support.

If you subscribe to “Letters from Amos,” we store your email address to send occasional updates. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional email (order confirmations, account messages) is sent only in response to something you did on the site.

Subscriber lists are not readable through the public API. Maintenance access is limited to the site owner’s server-side role.

We use cookies and local storage for things the site needs to work: your sign-in session, your shopping basket, and remembering where you left off in a book. We also record lightweight, app-owned analytics events to understand which pages and books are read; these stay in our own backend.

This list reflects integrations visible in the app today. If we add another provider that handles your data, we’ll update this page.

You can ask us to export or delete your account data, unsubscribe from the newsletter, or correct something that looks wrong. Email hello@adventuresofamos.com and we’ll reply.

If you believe you’ve found a security or privacy issue, please email hello@adventuresofamos.com with a description and steps to reproduce. We’ll acknowledge receipt and work the issue.

The stories are written for children, but accounts and purchases on this site are intended for adults (parents, teachers, gift-givers). If a child’s information has been entered, contact us and we’ll remove it.
